I have a Taifun17e (serial number 1084) for spares or repair following storm damage. The starboard wing and flap has damage and a repairable gash on the underside and there a 1/4 circumference crack and associated gel coat damage in the tail boom.
All the rest of the aircraft is undamaged but the Insurers have deemed it is beyond economical repair. I have therefore bought the salvage.
The 2.4 Limbach EB1AB engine runs really well with an uprated oil cooler. Clam shells are fitted also. Propeller is MTV-1-A/L 160-03. Compressions are good and the Slick magneto has only completed 12hrs since certified overhaul. The aircraft is being sold without the radio but with a mode C transponder.

Aircraft registration is G-KFBA. The aircraft currently has a valid ARC until 4th June 2022.
