New Trig Radio announced

I have a Trig transponder which works great and is great for soaring as it has a very low power draw. Trig Avionics (in Scotland) has just announced a very small and low power draw VHF radio with a two place intercom built in for about $2000. This radio also has:

--6W transmit power

--power draw 200ma receive, 2 amp transmit

--dual frequency watch

--built in speaker amplifier

--9 programable frequency memories

--2 1/4 inch hole by 3 inch deep control head with a remote box (a little larger than a cube of butter) that can be mounted anywhere

See it at: http://www.trig-avionics.com/
