Is anyone familiar with the iFly 700 or iFly 720 ?

I've read all I could online and am getting ready to order one (the iFly 720) ?

Any input would be appreciated either pro or con.

I fly a Grob 109B out of Van Sant (9N1) in eastern PA.

Thanks and safe flying.

Hi Rich

I hadn't seen the iFly before, but as I review the specs and video it sure looks interesting. I spent quite a bit more for my Garmin GPSMap 696 and I can't quite pick out many advantages. I was familiar with Garmin buttonology and it interfaced with my avionics. Else I really like the apparent user friendliness and configurability of the iFly.

Did you get one?

I have a few flights out of Van Sant. When I was in college I travelled to Van Sant a couple of times for soaring flights. Then the college soaring club I started was reconfigured long after I left and fly there as the Flying Tigers. Finally, one of my student's families owned the airport for awhile, the Husains. My student was Arif Husain who used to come down and tow there for his dad. It's a beautiful spot.
