TheBiz73 Posted March 2, 2023 Report Posted March 2, 2023 Good afternoon, I’ve been trying to do some digging but the information is a little scarce. I live in Southern Maryland and was wondering if there were any CFI-Gs for motor gliders in the general area (Virginia, Delaware, etc.) that has an aircraft. I’m not opposed to traveling a reasonable distance. I’m mostly putting out the feelers to see whats out there. Thank you. Quote
xintersecty Posted March 11, 2023 Report Posted March 11, 2023 What is your current experience? I am not ready yet but hopefully by June, I might be open for business in SC as a CFI with a Grob 109B. Quote
TheBiz73 Posted March 13, 2023 Author Report Posted March 13, 2023 I have 22 hours in rotorcraft. My wife got me an exploration flight in a sail plane (non powered) a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Quote
xintersecty Posted March 17, 2023 Report Posted March 17, 2023 The best thing to do is to get your glider license at a nearby club and then look at transitioning to a self launch endorsement Quote
TheBiz73 Posted March 19, 2023 Author Report Posted March 19, 2023 Awesome. Will do. Thank you. Quote
Kenn Sebesta Posted May 30, 2023 Report Posted May 30, 2023 We're standing up a glider club in Mansfield, MA, just south of Boston. The primary plane is a Stemme S6, and the goal is to get people into gliding, self-launching and otherwise. We're too new to have had conversations about renting, but feel free to DM me and we can talk. Quote
