Rob R mentioned in a recent post that his fuel tank draining curtis seal was leaking and would be fixed at his condition inspection.  I'm looking for suggestions on this one.  An A&P has unsuccessfully fixed the seeping fuel from my fuel tank drain under the wing and more recently I was unsuccessful at the same task.  Rob, if you might get a description of what your mechanic did and if it worked I would appreciate it.  In my fix, I replaced the seal and used a fuel-appropriate sealant around the screws.

Thanks to Rob R because now I know it's called a curtis seal.  Anyone else have any war stories on this issue?

Thanks, Alex

They replaced the rubber gasket.

I will send them an e-mail and ask them about the partnumber and if the replaced the valve also.

And every time I contacted  Pure-flight I get an answer within a day.

Answer of compagnie  was , they used the old gasket as a template to make a new one from a sheet of gasket material.

So no partnumber yet.
