Registered No longer active on TMGA Posted August 16, 2014 Registered Report Posted August 16, 2014 The best part of SV 11 is you can now set Vne as a TAS (true airspeed) number. That's exactly what the Phoenix needs, as it's Vne is 120 knots TAS! The picture shows my screen in flight after installing SV 11 and setting the Vne to 120 kts TAS.Note how the "red line" starts at 112 knots IAS, due to the higher density altitude of 4631 feet. This is a dramatic improvement for us, and should help avoid over-speeding Vne, especially at the higher altitudes out West.I also found out how to make screen shots (press #2 and #7 key simultaneously - not a new feature), changed my Track Line to show time in addition to distance (new feature), and set my "canopy latched" sensor to alarm (not a new feature). There are other new features, but these are the ones I've used so far. Quote
