Egoethel Posted September 4, 2014 Author Report Posted September 4, 2014 Anyone have any ideas where I can find the rubber engine mounts for the Rotax 912 on my AMT-200? So far, no phone reply from Ximango USA and the old email address bounces back. Quote

Thermalseeker Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 Aircraft Spruce has them. Mine (#135) are "Barry" mounts. Just use the number stamped on the puck and reorder the same part. Here's a link to the Barry Controls page at Aircraft Spruce that has the various mounts they manufacture:http://www.aircraftspruce.com/search/search.php?s=BARRY+MOUNT&x=0&y=0 Quote

Egoethel Posted September 5, 2014 Author Report Posted September 5, 2014 Thanks, that's a huge help. Any idea where to find the rubber tailwheel bumpers? Worst case, we should be able to fabricate something that'll work. Quote

benettlr Posted August 14, 2021 Report Posted August 14, 2021 These two rubber isolators (one neoprene rubber and the other natural rubber) from McMaster-Carr have the same dimensions as the stock part. Unknown if the 50A hardness is a match. The parts are inexpensive (domestic shipping will likely cost more) so its probably worth a try. Feedback appreciated if someone explores this avenue. Isolator (50A neoprene rubber) Part number: 9225K83 Isolator (50A natural rubber) Part number: 9217K53 Quote

Considering it tends to get greasy from the tailwheel post, I'd think that the neoprene version would be the better option. Quote
