Lee Posted January 15, 2016 Report Posted January 15, 2016 Hello I am looking to find some one who is hopefully near the Northeast, or in the area who has a Grob 109 to take a flight with ( happy to compensate) I am thinking of purchase but would like to have an idea of how it flies before I take that move.. Thanks ! Lee Quote
Steve Sliwa Posted January 15, 2016 Report Posted January 15, 2016 Hi Lee There are some online resources on this website to help: Navigate to Maps (Community > Forums > Member Maps). Here you can look for Grob owners in the NE (select Fleet and then click on Grobs on the left sidepanel) or looks at CFIs that list a Grob as their airplane. Check the classifieds for available Grobs. Come to the East Coast TMGA Fly-In in April. There is bound to be Grob coming and you can possibly kick tires and/or get a flight in one or other models. biplanebob Posted January 17, 2016 Report Posted January 17, 2016 Morn'in Another source is an FAA aircraft registry search for make and model, it will list by state and give the registered address. You will have to follow up with a written letter, but thru that process I met a gentleman near me in Tennessee that has been a great help. If you search for G-109 it will list both 109s and 109Bs.. bob Quote
