I've had an ongoing problem with the oil sensor on my 200S. It will be just fine for several hours, then suddenly climb up near the redline for awhile, then drop back to normal. The FBO that does the annual has confirmed it's the sensor and not the oil pressure. Ximango has sent two sensors that proved to be the wrong type. Anyone have this problem and found the solution to get the right replacement part.
Thanks.

I do not have the same problem, My pressure reads 100 on start up. Then
drops to 80, well out of the proper range. I sent the gauge back to the
manufacturer and installed. The problem continues.

Hi John,
I have S/N 96 with the 81 hp engine and had encountered the same
situation. I have replaced the sensor twice. I got them from Westberg
Mfg. Inc. in Sonoma, Ca.. The original one was exchanged at 128 hours,
the next one at 301 hours. After installing the last one the
fluctuations continued and I called Westberg and they suggested it might
be grounding problem, so I run a separate grounding wire to a grounding
connection on the firewall and now it works fine.
