btrjillo
Hi Phoenix drivers, My dynon display shows “air time” at the end of a flight when I review the entire engine page… (and maybe during, but I’ve never looked for it then). Hobbs time and Tach time (of course) stop while flying with the engine off. My question: Does the dynon keep a running record of this “air time” or total time? Cheers, bryan
Registered Eric Greenwell Posted March 21, 2022 Registered Report Share Posted March 21, 2022 Yes, it does record all time in the air, even if the engine isn't running.
Barry.h
If you look in the screen layout section of the Dynon manual (Page 5-6) with the Screen Layout Editor you can configure the display and add other items and timers to the screens you want. There is a Total Air Timer - which is I think the one you want. I put the Hobbs and this total air timer on the main screens for logbook entries.
