ULF-2 Motorglider...?

Greetings from Minnesota.

Having recently finished (and am now flying) my first homebuilt airplane, I find myself considering another project.

The ULF-2 motorglider looks interesting...

I've corresponded with the designer, and there are about 20 of these flying (in France and Germany). Plans are still available.

There is a builder's forum but it's in German (which I do not speak). Also have seen some YouTube videos showing the aircraft.

Some questions for the group:

1) Has anyone seen one of these in person, or know of any that are in the US or Canada? Impressions?

2) Has anyone seen the plans? Impressions?

3) Is anyone familiar with any other popular homebuilt motorgliders for which plans are available...?

Here are pictures and video of the airplane that I recently completed (N63PZ). I also built the engine, which I retrieved from a 1967 Chevrolet Corvair.
