Heard today from a friend who sat in at Phoenix at Seminole recently, that the cockpit is too small for his 6'3" frame. He also stated that neither seats nor rudder pedals are adjustable (which would obviously be of interest only to smaller pilots). Is there consensus at what body height the seating position is becoming uncomfortable? Since we want to use a Phoenix over a wide range of club pilots, these points would be of importance.

I'm 5'11"; for me, the Phoenix is very comfortable, but I haven't had it long enough to make more than two hour flights. My guess is taller pilots can be comfortable, also, depending on where their height is - torso or legs - and how long they fly. If club members are flying less than, say, two hours, even tall pilots might be comfortable enough.

Jim Lee, the dealer, told me the pedal distance can be adjusted somewhat on the ground, a potential solution for tall pilot owners, but not likely suitable for a club.
