Glue fabric to canopy

Good morning everyone,

I need to glue a piece of fabric to the upper area inside of the canopy of a light aircraft (to protect the pilot from the sun). The aircraft is not a glider but I guess you guys have experience in light aircraft plexiglass canopies.

Does anybody know what kind of glue can I use in order not to damage the plexiglass?
