Buffing the left wing

Thermalseeker

We had a few warm days before the December ugliness arrives. So, I gave my Ximango a good bath and now she gets a wax and buff. This 9" buffer is built up from a 7" side grinder. Used end on it doesn't leave swirl marks, but you have to pay attention to the direction of rotation around the edges so you don't snatch an aileron or other part off. Extra shiny please! To do it right it takes a solid 4 hours just to wash. A good wax and buff adds another 6-7 hours. I usually split it up between two days.
