Departing TN89. You can see the eastern escarpment of the Cumberland Plateau in the background, as well as the beginning of the convergence line that tends to form over the plateau on south or southwest days. This day was a high pressure, more or less blue day, but the convergence was strong (8.5 kts on the averager) going to about 7400' msl. The top of the plateau is about 2200' msl with the field elevation at TN89 of 700' msl.
