Abstract:  I have been in search of engine parts for a friend who may have need after a prop strike and thought you or Tiafun friends in your area may have leads.

     RAD and All,

I have tried to sent you info through your e address and indication is that it did not get through, sorry.  I have been on the run as you have been so I did not call again.  I am interested in learning more about some of the instruments in my unit and do not have documentation so I was going to send pictures taken with a digital.  I have also been in search of engine parts for a friend who may have need after a prop strike and thought you or Tiafun friends in your area may have leads. I shall also try Mike in OH.  I envy all you CA folks for our weather is now turning to threats of winter with lake rains.

Do you or anyone you know use a trailer to protect your T.?  I wish to fly mine to another state where hanger space is nonexistent and the sun is brutal.  I love this forum and to hear from folks outside the US.  Many thanks to the organizers.

I have a 90hp limbach and mt controllable prop out of a taifun.  It is in good shape and about 700 hours.  Still on engine mounts too.  The guy put in a rotax at a cost of about $60k.

    Alvaro,

We have a mutual friend: Peter Lert. Not too long ago Peter flew with me attempting to give me a BFR in my 1986 Taifun (N67LM - SN 1095). There are only 20 Taifuns in the USA but three of them are at Whiteman Airport (KWHP) and all in one hangar. Peter has told me of your airventure from Germany to Nepal in 1985 for OSTIV.

    Regards,

    Dick Davidson
