    Hi all,
just to let you know, there's a new article on our website  www.powerglidertaifun.de concerning a brake problem Henk has had with his Taifun, causing him to make an emergency landing. No damage or  injuries, but we think every Taifun owner should read the article and check his/her own Taifun for possible cracks in a certain part of the system.
Article is called "Cracked, not crashed" and can be found in the Technics section at the website, also containing a detailed picture what and where to look for.

    Hi all,
after contacting Cornelia Korff about the brakes problem earlier today we have come to the conclusion that the part that broke off in Henk's Taifun is NOT present in a Taifun 17E, ONLY in a Taifun 17EII. So 17E owners should not worry about possible problems with the brake system akind to those of Henk's D-KFDI. We will also modify the text on the powerglidertaifun.de website in case 17E owners should think this matter also concerns their plane.
No need to worry with a 17E.

    Greetz and safe landings, Henk.
