    Dear Claudio,

It's true that I can be a "real prick"...when dealing with one. After all, it goes with being Portuguese
    sometimes, doesn't it?

Indeed, the US Navy was so "desperate" that they punished me with full scholarships for Bachelor and
Master degrees, tours as a faculty member of the Naval Academy and Northwestern University, and
three Navy commands, incl an Admiral's billet, in my 31 years of Naval service.

It is also true that I "can't fly worth a shit". It was sheer good fortune and the grace of God that I survived 800+
carrier landings (200+ night), five Vietnam deployments, and 300+ missions flying F-4 and A-7 aircraft.

God has also granted me the blessing of flying 1000+ joyous Ximango hours in the past three years (59% engine off).

My partner Jerry Owens and I (Ximango of Florida, LLC), Chuck's and your agents !!, have given demo/instruction
flights to dozens of prospects. We have also established a Ximango maintenance arrangement with Richard Hamilton,
Patty Wagstaff's 20 year mech. He and I recently completed the two Rotax 912 courses at Lockwood Aviation.

It has been a joy to know you, Keith, and Heinz. My differences with Chuck were all business related,
not personnal. Some comments were intended as good-natured gibes, but I obviously over-estimated his sense of humor
     - for which I offered my unaccepted apology. I think you may agree that there are occasions when pissing off certain
well-deserving individuals tells you that you have done something right.

    Warm regards and best wishes,
    Manuel (Manny) Benevides Sousa
