I want to do some soaring in March and April, and am wondering which sites would yield the
more soarable days for a motorgliding.
I'm willing to travel far from home, this swamp called Delaware, and hope to find some place,
preferrably warm, to stay for a week or two.

Bruce:
You didn't say how far you wanted to power. Arizona should be great by end
of March and April. I've been down there in April and could X-country soar
almost every day. Colorado where I live starts getting good by April but it can
also be upslopey and cloudy and rainy. Bill

A couple of additional suggestions based on my travels:
W Texas/S New Mexico, specifically the Marfa area or Alamagordo. Can be windy, but good for soaring. If you want to try closer to home, central Florida (base out of Seminole Lake Gliderport or Winter Haven) can be quite good until late April. Might tie in a visit to Sun n Fun there too.
Good Luck,
Denis Michaud

Hi Bruce,
I had send to your personal e-mail address some info about the wave
soaring camp early April in Marfa, but I am not sure whether this
address is still valid. If you did not receive it, please let me know,
so I can send it to the correct address. This Ximango e-mail address did
not accept the attachment.
