    Hello Ximango group
I notice in the Sevice Manual  there are no instructions for servicing the hydraulic front forks. It woud be greately appreciated if anyone can supply any information in regards to servicing this item. I have noticed that the starboard  fork requires additional air about every two months. I suspect that one of the the 'o" rings is leaking and before I take to a 'lame' for help I know he will want some information on the rebuilding of the forks. Are there any special tools and what is the proceedure?
Also run out of some of the 3/16 Hydraulic brake line tube and wondering if anyone lnows a supplier for this tubing.
Lastly (sorry to be a bother) what is the email address of your best soaring magazine in the states for classified adds?

    Dear John:

I can help you with one of your questions. The Soaring Society of America
publishes Soaring magazine which is probably the most widely read soaring
publication in the US. Their web site is: http://www.ssa.org/

    Best

    John,

Section 5, page 5.34 of the Maintenance Manual has what instruction there
is.  We will be glad to help translate and amplify if you tell us where  you're
    having trouble.

Are you getting any detectable red hydraulic fluid leakage from the strut
that goes down in 2 months??

    Regards,

    John,

The flexible brake line tubing can be bought on line from Aircraft  Spruce.
    They ship to Australia.

    Hi Chuck
I am sorry if i missed this information in the Maintenance Manual. I did have a look through and there is a figurative parts drawing that shows the components of the Hydraulic fork but i did not see any text on how to service this. I will have another look this weekend when I am at the hanger.
      regards john thirwall
