  • Did you notice that the a Ximango featured in AOPA had, among other fine blandishments, an
    elegeant set of wingtip bumpers?

I need some bumpers. My factory-supplied blocks of foam are beat.

    How did you replace yours?

    Do you also need replacements?

Got any ideas? Post or email me.

    Bruce,

I am in the process of designing and building a set for s/n 130 that I
just acquired.  I built a mockup rudder out cardboard and balsa this
weekend.  Tonight I will begin to cut up a camping pad for sleeping
bags, to wrap aroung the model winglet.  I should have a design
perfected by the weekend.  I will let you know how it goes.
