The Gill-35 seems to the
usual battery in the Ximango. Is the equivelent 'concorde' battery the same ?
Been reading in the files about battery /backup etc and as I have only had one occasion when I could not restart because of low battery and too low for a aero start

I am sure the best insurance is to fit a volt meter. Anyone fitted a volt meter and is there any wiring tips. Lastely my Gill -35 shows a full charge at 12.2 volts Should it be closer to 12.5 volts . Maybe time to buy another battery

Gentlemen:
Thanks very much. It seems that the rates have climbed a little since I
had #123. This is all good info to be factored into the purchase
decision.
I really miss flying and am looking forward to getting another aircraft of
some nature.
Best wishes,

John:
I use a voltmeter and I agree, it is better than the panel mounted ammete=
r
for determining your battery status. It is in a small plastic case and
mounted with velcro on the cockpit wall forward of the passenger's right=
elbow. It is simply plugged into the cigarette lighter socket using a plu=

from Radio Shack.
